Friends are all over the world right now. With people like Kimchoo in US and Marie in Germany and some others in other part of the globe, sometimes it makes me feel that everyone of us should travel out of Singapore to have a taste of the outside world. And I wish I had the opportunity to do so in the next two years, as a student.
Be it work and travel, summer school or internship, Ithink its a one-time experience thats worth it.
And this shall be my goal for the next sem.

Was looking through all the pictures in fb and it made me realise how fast time passes and all the memories I had with all my loved ones.
Oh well, time do flies. Without knowing it, it has been a year in SIM. Within this short 12 months, fun and laughters fill up part and parcel of my uni life. But at the same time, things just doesnt seems as good as it is from the outside. Haii...this is part of life, isnt it? Somehow, i just feel that there's a distant in between even though we still care for one another.

Nonetheless, I am really grateful for all the love and fun I had with my spastic group from YJ. You guys are still the best man! We have been through all the downs and sucky period which I believe is the reason why we still remain as close as before. I just love birthday celebrations and meetups with you guys!

And not to forget, my group of girls from NSS. It has been long. The company from you guys will always remain in my mind and heart as it will always be filled with gossips and more gossips! My Favourite!! So, when will be our next meetup? I'm waiting!

Happened to chance upon a friend's blog entry. Whatever was written is very true. Friendship is something which none of us can explain how it happens. The only thing we could do is to cherish it and treat everyone just like your other half cos this is something that god has arranged for you.

Happy Mother's Day! :)
The pain that all mothers went through during pregnancy, the hard work they put in to make sure their child had the best of everything and the patience and love within them are the reasons why I feel that mothers are the best people on earth.

Anyway, exams are over, like FINALLY!!!!!!
Oh well, as compared to last sem, I admit I didnt really put in much effort this time round. I can only blame myself and face all the consequences alone. Fingers crossed! I only hope for a pass for all four modules! credits, distinctions and high distinctions are just bonuses!

And, I seriously need $$$$$. Any job lobang people?
I need $$$ to have fun, play non stop, watch as many movies and shows as I can, shopping, chilling, birthday presents and lastly, Bangkok trip!
Oh man oh man! How I wish money can drop from the sky or better still, appear right in front of me like now.

Birthday parties, and more to come.
Had hell load of fun camwhoring non stop. Oh well, this is just one of the many ways to entertain ourselves. And I forsee myself attending more 21st parties these two years. No worries man! Mine is coming in 9 months time! Who wants to be my party planner cum assistant? I need emcee and a clown to entertain my guests and myself too! :)

On a side note, I got selected for council exco interview. It makes me wonder if I am really fit for a leadership role. Past experiences in NSSCO, YJCO and all the various class responsibilities just came to me too naturally. But am I really ready to face this huge responsibility this time round? There are still other factors like school work, family, friends, and personal time to consider and I seriously doubt myself. Am I able to commit to council and the other people around me? The time isnt right. Furthermore, I'm still a young and innocent kid to many people out there. How do I make decisions that will benefit everyone with such innocent mind? Somehow, I just doesnt have that much confidence like I had previously. It came too sudden and I dont see it coming either.
Watever it is, I have no idea what to do!

Event 03 - Butter Fingers

Finally! my event is over. To my surprise, everything runs smoothly on the event day itself. It was a breeze! I was speechless and couldnt stop thanking every single one who was there. Somehow I felt that they are the ones who has made this event possible. Thank you many many for all those who came down to support and helpout! You know who you are and I really, seriously appreciate it! :)

And I would also like to thank my planning team too! They are the ones who has contributed their time and effort into this event. All the problems from school has caused us much headache but we still managed to overcome everything in the end. I have learned something from each and everyone of you. To me, its like a learning process and at the same time, getting to know you guys better! :D

Everything is more or less over. Now is the time to start mugging! No more entertainment but books and notes. There's no way I am going to repeat any modules! Chiong ar!!!!

It feels kinda weird this few days....

Had events internal gathering yesterday night. It was a pretty simple affair but nonetheless, I had fun. Besides good food, great company and a fun time, some of us stayed through the night for a little heart-to-heart talk.

And through this little chat with diferent people, I realise things are not that simple as you think it is. I know life is never fair. Everything happend for a reason and sometimes, it may not turn out the way you wanted it to be. Your expectations are not met. And disappointment sets in when everything around you doesnt work out in a nice way. This is part of life. We just have to face it and accept the fact.

Somehow, many little problems are on my mind this few days. I am worried for my upcoming event. Things are not turning out to be what I've expected. Nonetheless, I am grateful for having people around me to encourage and support me. I learn to look at this situation in a positive way. Who says a successful event needs to be a grand one with many participants? Number doesnt mean anything, its the effort that counts.

And I should seriously thank all those who has helped me in a way or another. At the same time, I apologise to those whom I have put pressure on indirectly. You guys are the best man!

The project-ing period is finally over. FINALLY!!!
I had enough of marketing and I would seriosuly like to take a break from it.
Next up will be the mighty econs test plus event03.
Shall start revising tomorrow and try to finish all three hundred MCQs soon if I want to pass well.
Anyway, the details for my event are more or less confirm. All I hope for now is to have enough participants and manpower to help out on publicity and on the event day itself. And of course, everything to run smoothly! :)

I am really sorry for neglecting you guys during this period of time. I am seriously quite busy for the past few weeks and more weeks to come. I can officially announce: I'm braces-ED!
Goodbye to all the metal pieces in my mouth and Hello to retainers for the next two years. Apparently, my past two years of torture is still on-going. Now I still have to survive another two years with the retainers whereby many people have advised me to wear it no matter what happens. Oh well, we shall see how it goes! Who will be so free to wear it every day and taking it out only when you are eating or drinking? OMG! It might be a problem to me since I eat like every single minute.

Anyways, this sem seems to be really busy for me. The next test is just 8 days away!
Self-discipline-this is all I need to help me score well for this sem.

Not a bad start after all.

Even though I know it could be better, but what's done is done. The only way out is to try even harder for the next few semesters. I shall work even harder to get at least 1 High Distinction. That's my goal for next sem!

Meetup with besties today. Everyone of us has written out last sentence and full stop to our exam papers. (like FINALLY!)

Went all the way down to Sengkang. For what? To swim in their indoor swimming pool and try their slides. But... a function was going on and we cant swim today. SIAN!!!! Ended up in Xinyi's pool instead.

Had a heart to heart talk with my girls this afternoon.
Somehow the environment around me hasn't change a single bit. I am the one who has changed. I realised, so do my besties.
According to them, it has changed for the better. Well, I do hope so.

On personal thoughts, I find that the old Curina is too competitive when it comes to every aspects in life. I guess the education system is screwed. It has turned me into someone who always wishes for the best and be the best. Winning is a must for me and losing is never a word found in my dicitionary.

Somehow, entering YJ two years back seems to be like a turning point for me.
I've been playing non stop and failing all subjects like nobody's business. No matter how hard I try, I'll never get good grades for every tests, not to mention exams. I guess this is the reason that has causes a change in me. I learn to look on the bright side of life and know the true meaning of losing.

Now I believe that everyone is born to do something. Some of us know what we are capable of in the early stage of life but others need some time to explore themselves.
Well, I guess I fall under the second category.
And I also believe that god has chosen the paths for us. In a way or another, things that happen along your way are meant to teach you some things. Take your time to learn and cherish every moment of it.

I really appreciate all the loves, care and concern I have received for the previous 2 years. Especially to Susanna,Shihui,Xinyi,Martin and Lionel. These 2 short years have been tough. You guys are suffering in a way as well. But its all the loves and accompany that kept us going all along. For the next 20,30,40 etc years to come, I know we'll still be the same. :)

Finally, test and project are all done! The previous weekend was a much wanted break after all the effort and sweat everyone put in.
The kbox session was great and bash was okay. Not that bad though.

OB individual assignment results are out!
Oh well, I got credit which is like 68%?
At least I really did tried my very best in writing this first essay in uni.
As compared to JC, I find uni life easier to cope.
Perhaps what my JC teachers have said is true?
'Once you overcome JC, uni is nothing to you!'
Well, at least now i know what I am doing and there's balls for me to catch! Not like in JC whereby I dont even know where the balls are heading to.

Anyway, the major major exams are coming up real soon.

Oh well,I did study for it.And I seriously hope I can pass.

But the sad case is,I didnt.
Haha..All I can do now is to hope and pray that miracles do happen.

Had Economics.
This is the only paper I had confidence in.

Not bad huh?
Feel so proud of myself.

Friday
Its Maths today.
The killer paper where I was like "huh?what's the question talking about?" for the first 6 questions.These 6 stupid qns cost me 40% out of 100%.
Think I'm in deep trouble.
I shall start saying bye to my saturdays and hi to yj's school library.

Whatever it is,what is done cannot be undone.
So,I should take a short break this weekend.

Haha.I'm going to support my brother tmr morning for his kindergarden sports day.
I wonder how it will be like.
Guess it's just some kidish kinda sports where you get to see all the little kids running around. =D
And after that,It's SHOPPING time for me!
